WebTextures.net is an online texture site that aims to provide high quality website textures to anyone who desires them 100% free of cost. In the process of designing multiple websites I have found myself either looking for or creating multiple textures for use on the various sites. So I figured the textures I make, I'll just throw on this site so anyone else can use them too. Since these textures are made with web design and development in mind, they tend to be very easy to incorporate as background images as most if not all of the textures seamlessly tile so can expand to any size. Background Images
Most of the textures on this site can be used as background images. If there's any images or texture patterns that you
like, simply download the image by right-clicking and saving it to your computer and then upload it to your web server.
If you don't have a web server or hosting company because you don't have a website, but you want to get one, simply select a cheap
web host from the column to the left and you can have a website with just a few dollars a month. Then you can upload the background image to add
a rich look and feel to your website. To use the texture on your website, simply use a CSS stylesheet declaration as follows in your <body>

The textures are free for personal and commercial use in that it is okay to use these textures to make a personal or a commercial website. It is also permissible to design and sell websites or website templates that use the texture. The only exception and what you cannot do is these textures cannot be distributed independently or part of a collection of other textures and the textures found on this site cannot be sold. The textures created on this site are created by us here at WebTexures.net and though they are 100% free to use for any personal or commercial website, they are not intended to be used for distribution on another website (ie another texture website).
